Service Description
This class allows children to apply their musicianship to an instrument! Children will explore the fundamentals of the ukulele to learn to play new songs, respond musically to known songs, and create their own songs. Just like our beloved Music Play classes, instruction will include a diversity of tonalities and meters, highlight old favorites, and introduce traditional folk tunes that the whole family can learn. Parents will also learn to care for, tune, and play the ukulele so that they can encourage, lead, and share with their young musician at home! Participants will need to provide their own ukuleles! We recommend buying a Kala Soprano ukulele. This 10-week semester runs from September 18th to November 20th, excluding October 17th (UofSC Fall break).

Cancellation Policy
UofSC semester refunds will not be granted more than two weeks after the semester start date. Refund requests made within the stated limits will be returned to your credit card, less the $25 processing fee and a charge of $25 per class that has been held. A la carte classes may be canceled/refunded up to 24 hours in advance.
