Service Description

Taught by Elizabeth McKenna, Tinkergarten helps families get outside to make the most of their kids’ early learning years. This class is a way for children to tap into their creative nature. The arts come alive in many different ways, whether painting with mud, making shakers with acorns and recycled bottles, or taking on the personalities of various creatures. Designed by education experts and loved by all families, the play-based outdoor curriculum guides parents in raising healthy, confident, and capable kids. Through weekly sessions with a rich learning community, Tinkergarten makes purposeful outdoor play fun for every family. *If your child wants to benefits of both music and outdoor exploration, be sure to check out our membership package for the best deal on both classes.* The spring semester covers 10 weeks of classes plus one bonus/makeup week for families. The semester starts January 12th, 2024 and ends April 12th, 2024. There will not be classes February 9th (Professional Development), March 8th (UofSC Spring Break), and March 29th (Easter weekend). April 12th is a make-up class. Thursday's lesson is the same as Friday's. New content is presented weekly.

Cancellation Policy

UofSC semester refunds will not be granted more than two weeks after the semester start date. Refund requests made within the stated limits will be returned to your credit card, less the $25 processing fee and a charge of $25 per class that has been held. A la carte classes may be canceled/refunded up to 24 hours in advance.
